Hope House and Trafficking Hope offer essential shelter to victims escaping their abusers. For many victims of sex trafficking, hope is scarce. Despite their desire for freedom, the traffickers abuse and degrade them, making them feel as though they are useless. As a result, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, and addiction are common in sex trafficking survivors.
Lee and Laura Domingue created the Trafficking Hope organization in Baton Rouge in 2007, and it now has shelters in 22 states. Its goal is to eradicate human trafficking in the country through assisting victims, educating the public, and offering numerous services to individuals who have been rescued. They believe faith gives people the strength to confront their mental health problems and build a life they never thought was possible.
We at BFL want everyone to live a life of freedom and hope! We’re thrilled to be sponsoring Trafficking Hope as our inaugural Community Cause. Here’s the best part: We’ll make a $20 donation on your behalf for every person you refer to us who receives a no-obligation quote! We can make a difference in this important shelter that has touched so many lives if we just work together!
